IRON MAN MARK 42 BUILD PROCESS PHOTO SLIDESHOW 3D model created in Blender - 90% modeled by me. The goal was modular suit with internal skeleton holding pieces together. Full front view of the suit model. Full back view of the suit model. Render of the chest with chest plate removed. V1 of exoskeleton chest with pegs that hold plates onto the skeleton. Helmet sanded and prepped with a metallic silver base coat. Inner details were added to the helmet for realism. A look inside of the helmet as it was being motorized. Comparison of my suit VS the screen used suit in Iron Man 3. Test fit of the torso, arms and head all together. V2 design of the skeleton after V1 had broken, exposing design flaws. New exoskeleton implemented into the suit and positioned on a new stand for scaling and work purposes. A look at the helmet closed as well. Front view of the suit nearing completion, with abs mounted to new V2 exoskeleton. Abs overlap on each other and attach to exo frame to allow for bending. The constructed legs with panels attached to exoskeleton frame. FINISHED PHOTOS
